Kanso Ogbolu is a self-motivated and resourceful individual with an ability to translate various concepts and ideas into visual gold. He received a degree in Architecture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology, Kumasi, Ghana and worked with various architectural and construction firms before moving on to advertising as a digital executive where he worked on various brands. Through the ideas of he and his team, he contributed to the growth and success of these brands in the digital space.
Some of his notable achievements include appearing in the prestigious Luerzer’s Archive Magazine more than once, winning the grand prize in the Multichoice at 20 logo design competition, winning 2 Gold awards at the 2017 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival for his animation work, winning best VFX and best animated film at the Lagos International Festival of Animation and the Inshort Film Festival respectively.
Presently he runs his own company, OBK Studios, a design and animation agency where he creates motion design and animated commercials for various brands, as well as award winning short films and a horror series titled FTFO or Freak The Fxxk Out; an anthology of creepy animated and live action stories which has been screened in several countries and won multiple awards.
